The South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) is inviting passionate and ambitious individuals to apply for their Bursary Programme. If you dream of becoming a pilot or a certified aircraft maintenance engineer, this is your chance to receive financial support for your studies.
Available Fields of Study:
- Pilot Training (Helicopter & Fixed Wing)
- Requirements:
- Pure Mathematics (Level 5)
- Physical Science (Level 5)
- English (Level 5)
- Requirements:
- Aircraft Maintenance Engineering
- Requirements:
- Pure Mathematics, English, and Physical Science (Engineering studies)
- or NCV Level (Level 4) (Engineering Studies)
- Requirements:
- Aeronautical Engineering
- Requirements
- Pure Mathematics (Level 6)
- Physical Science (Level 5)
- English 5
- Requirements
SACAA Bursaries 2025 Application Criteria:
- South African Citizenship is a must.
- Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 35.

Like most people I want to paint my future with bright colors which I won’t be able to if I’m not lucky enough to be granted a bursary. I want to further my studies but for that I need a bursary.
